About our sewing classes
E1S1 thinks a relaxed, organic approach is better for the creative process. While we offer private instruction (individual and group), our E1S1 curriculum consists of project-based courses where each student may work at his/her own pace, therefore,
NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY FOR ANY OF OUR WORKSHOPS OR CLASSES.
About Our Classes: During these classes, students will work from a pattern but will learn how to customize that pattern to their size, shape and style preference. Most class session are 2 hours long and each class meets once or twice a week for anywhere from three to five weeks (depending on the class). Please check the calendar for courses that include holiday dates as end dates may be extended to accommodate holiday closings. PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR ADULT CLASSES ARE RUN ON A ROLLING ADMISSIONS BASIS AND YOU MAY ENROLL IN ANY CLASS AT ANY TIME. Ideally, you should plan to take all sessions without interruption but if you miss a class, you may make it up at your convenience, during a regularly scheduled session for that class.
